Board of Directors Special Meeting (In accordance with 25 O.S. § 304(4) Oklahoma Community Health Services, Inc. is recognized as a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services’ Bureau of Primary Health Care.  

The OCHS Board of Directors must maintain 51% of its governing board as patients of the Health Center. With that requirement, OCHS is then charged with having a Board that reflects the patients of the Health Center: to represent the communities, ethnic groups, ages and geographic area that it serves – ensuring that patients of OCHS always have a voice. 
The remaining members of the Board of Directors are other community leaders who have experience in finance, operations, human resources, real estate and fund development. There are members of our board from each community that we serve: Oklahoma City, Fort Cobb and Tipton.
